Das Modul ergänzt meine bisherigen zwei Zerrsounds ausgezeichnet ich habe jetzt endlich einen tollen Clean-Sound aber auch einen ganz anders klingenden, warmen und bluesigen - oder, wenn ich will, auch stark verzerrten - Overdrive Sound, und das ganze Konzept funktioniert super.
Das einzige Synergy Preamp-Modul, das ich derzeit habe, ist das OS Modul (das sich am Dumble Overdrive Special orientiert), und das Ergebnis ist einfach großartig. Ich habe den SYN-1 mit der 3-Kabel-Methode in den seriellen Effektweg des Victory-Amps eingebunden und mein Pedalboard vor dem SYN-1 beziehungsweise im Effektloop des SYN-1.
Ich interessierte mich seit mehreren Jahren für die Synergy-Produkte und schwankte zwischen dem SYN-1 und dem SYN-2 - und nun habe ich mich für den SYN-1 entschieden, da meine Anlage schon damit vier Kanäle bekommen hat und sechs Kanäle doch etwas übertrieben schienen (wer weiß, wie lange ich, so denke….) und ich so nicht über ein Rackgehäuse und zusätzliche Fußschalter nachdenken musste. Ich habe schon länger einen Victory VX „The Kraken“ Amp, der zwei coole Zerrkanäle hat, aber keinen richtigen Clean Sound.
